Iranian Fake Prosecutor Scams Real Prosecutor with Escort Police
Iranian Jafar Najafi, who introduced himself as 'Prosecutor Ali Riza Mimaroğlu', was sentenced for fraud with his Iraqi brother-in-law and their driver. Najafi, who roamed with flashing vehicles, was using a judge-prosecutor card to enter courthouses. The complainant list in the 'fraud' case at the Bakırköy 5th Heavy Penal Court includes four people, three of whom are Iranian and one is a judiciary member who requested anonymity. Najafi, his brother-in-law Orhan Mimaroğlu, and their driver Yaşar Emre Erdönmez are on trial.
